The annual ball is the association's premiere event where current and former members and their families come together to celebrate the accomplishments of the 1-160th. 

 

The last ball was held at the Los Angeles Athletic Club adjacent to Pershing Square in 2022. Pershing Square is home to the Spanish-American War Monument which memorializes the 7th California Infantry which the 160th Infantry Regiment traces its regimental lineage to. The area housed the 160th Infantry as it prepared for mobilization at the start of World War II.
